YondrOne is a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) platform designed to simplify and centralize the management of physical data center infrastructure. The platform gives teams detailed visibility into assets, their physical locations, maintenance requirements, and operational responsibilities across sites.
The experience was designed around precision, structured workflows, and intuitive navigation, helping teams manage complex infrastructure while reducing operational complexity. From asset registration and location management to maintenance planning and issue tracking, YondrOne brings critical infrastructure information together in one centralized platform.
Core Modules of YondrOne
Role Management
The Role Management module allows administrators to create and manage user roles across the platform. Each role can be configured with a name, description, and specific permissions using a clear dual-list interface.
The structured permission system helps administrators control access based on individual responsibilities, supporting a more organized and secure experience across the platform.
User Management
The User Management module enables administrators to manage existing users and configure new accounts based on their responsibilities.
The setup workflow captures essential user information, role assignments, site allocation, and workflow permissions in one place. This structured approach helps ensure that every user receives the appropriate access and responsibilities within the platform.
Site Management
The Site Management module provides a structured hierarchy for organizing physical infrastructure. Users can navigate from sites → buildings → floors → rooms → locations, allowing physical spaces to be mapped and managed with precision.
Breadcrumb navigation provides clear context as users move through the hierarchy, while options to view, edit, and export records make it easier to maintain accurate location data and trace assets to their specific physical environments.
Asset Management
The Asset Management module provides a comprehensive workflow for registering and managing organizational assets. Users can capture information such as asset categories, parent relationships, manufacturers, site aliases, and EAN/SKU codes.
Additional attributes including location, operational status, condition, and lifecycle dates provide a complete view of each asset. The structured form is designed to handle large amounts of information without making the workflow feel overwhelming.
Tickets
The Tickets module provides a structured way to create, assign, and track operational issues. Administrators can create tickets based on specific requirements and assign them to the appropriate personnel.
Each ticket follows a defined workflow, allowing teams to track progress from assignment through resolution. This helps bring greater clarity to task ownership, accountability, and issue management.
Designing for Complex Infrastructure
YondrOne brings together a large amount of interconnected information — from physical locations and assets to users, permissions, maintenance, and operational issues.
One of the key design considerations was creating an interface that could handle this complexity while remaining clear, predictable, and easy to navigate. Structured information architecture, hierarchical navigation, consistent forms, and carefully organized data helped create a more manageable experience for users working with large-scale infrastructure.
Beyond the Core Modules
The modules highlighted above represent some of the key workflows within YondrOne. The platform extends further into areas such as maintenance planning, workflow management, operational tracking, and infrastructure planning, supporting teams throughout the lifecycle of their data center operations.
Rather than treating each function as an isolated feature, YondrOne connects these workflows into a centralized system, giving users greater visibility and control over the infrastructure they manage.
